Ron Hart - Board Member

Ron Hart grew up in Tennessee and went to work for Goldman Sachs in NYC after getting his MBA in 1983. He attended The University of Memphis and the Institute for Political and Economic Systems at Georgetown University. Ron graduated Magna Cum Laude and was elected IFC and student government president. He was later appointed to the Tennessee Board of Regents by then Governor Lamar Alexander. 

Ron had a 37 year career on Wall Street, and was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley. He was perennially on the Barron's Top 100 Adviser list. He was also ranked #4 on the Registered Rep poll, and was on the Financial Times Top 400 Adviser list. He managed $5 billion for clients, and now his daughter Hollis runs the business. 

Ron writes a political op-ed satire column for 55 newspapers. Ron's book There's No Such Thing As A Pretty Good Alligator Wrestler was awarded the Benjamin Franklin Award for Humor/Satire. He appears on CNN and FOX and has been quoted in numerous publications including the Wall Street Journal. Ron has three children, the oldest of whom is an MD in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and she is Chief Medical Officer at Erlanger. His son is with a startup. Ron has 3 grandchildren. He currently is a private investor, runs his foundation, and sits on several boards. He splits his time between Florida and Tennessee.
